Our Story

Bringing Guidance and Coordination into the Research Process

A research idea needs appropriate methods, time, and the right expertise to develop into a credible study. Students, clinicians, and early-career researchers may know the question they want to explore but need help deciding how to investigate it and organise the work.

IXPath was established to bring that guidance into a structured, collaborative setting. We help researchers move through the decisions and tasks involved in a project, with defined roles, practical explanations, and feedback along the way.

Ways to Work with IXPath

Three collaboration models

Supervised Research Groups

A collaborative pathway for participants who want to develop research skills through active involvement in a defined project.

Our medical research groups work under the supervision of a consultant professionally classified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), alongside methodological guidance and project coordination.

Participants receive clearly assigned tasks, supporting explanations, and feedback at agreed stages. Contributions are documented throughout the project, and authorship is assessed against the relevant journal's requirements.

Individual Research Support

Focused assistance with a particular stage of research or a broader project.

Support may include research question development, protocol review, methodological advice, statistical analysis, scientific writing and editing, or manuscript submission and revision support. Deliverables, timelines, and review arrangements are agreed in writing.

Institutional Projects

Research support tailored to the needs of universities, hospitals, research centres, and other organisations.

Each engagement begins with a defined proposal covering objectives, responsibilities, milestones, review arrangements, and expected outputs.

Publication expectations

Journal acceptance and publication timelines are determined by the journal's editorial and peer-review processes.
